More Than Detox

Detox removes substances from your body — recovery rebuilds your life. Many veterans cycle through detox programs only to relapse because the underlying trauma, mental health challenges, and behavioral patterns are never addressed. Our Recovery & Counseling program exists to break that cycle.

Led by licensed counselors who understand military culture and combat trauma, our sessions create a safe space for veterans to process their experiences and develop the tools they need to sustain sobriety long-term. Programs run 30, 60, or 90 days — longer stays consistently produce better outcomes.

Professional intervention support for veterans and families navigating the first steps toward treatment.

For Families

Family Group Support

Addiction doesn't just affect the veteran — it affects every member of the family. Our Family Group Support program gives loved ones their own space to heal, learn, and reconnect as the veteran moves through recovery.

Family members are invited to participate in structured group sessions led by our counselors, where they can share their experiences, ask questions, and learn how to support their veteran without enabling relapse. Strong family involvement is one of the strongest predictors of long-term recovery success.

Structured family group sessions
Education on addiction as a disease
Communication and boundary skills
Enabling behavior awareness

Understanding the Disease

Addiction Education

One of the most powerful tools in recovery is understanding addiction — not as a moral failure or a weakness of character, but as a chronic, treatable brain disease. Our addiction education curriculum gives veterans and their families the knowledge to dismantle shame, recognize warning signs, and make informed decisions about their recovery.

The science of addiction
How substances physically change the brain's reward system and decision-making pathways.
Substance-specific education
How different substances affect the body, why they're addictive, and what withdrawal involves.
PTSD & addiction connection
The relationship between trauma, self-medication, and the cycle of substance use in veterans.
Relapse as part of recovery
Understanding relapse as a signal — not a failure — and how to respond without giving up.
Triggers & cravings
Identifying personal triggers and developing concrete plans to manage cravings before they lead to use.
Building a recovery lifestyle
Nutrition, sleep, exercise, purpose, and community — the non-clinical factors that protect sobriety.

Ralpheal's Journey

Ralpheal had reached a breaking point, realizing that his attempts to break free from the cycle of addiction had been in vain. The familiar pattern — detox, withdrawal, relapse — had taken its toll. It was the comprehensive recovery program that finally gave him the tools to sustain sobriety.

Today, Ralpheal is a living example of what's possible when veterans receive comprehensive care — not just detox, but real recovery.
